The Aqara Video Doorbell G4 is a versatile and secure solution that lets you quickly and effortlessly know who's at your door. Its built-in AI-based face recognition algorithms allow you to mark the faces of your family members and frequent visitors in the Aqara Home app, reducing false alerts and notifications. When connected to other Aqara devices, the recognition of a specific or unknown face can configure automatic replies or trigger smart home automations, even when the internet connection is down.

The G4 is designed with enhanced security in mind. As a battery-powered video doorbell, all video footage is encrypted before being stored in iCloud. Video analysis and notifications can be accessed on your Apple devices, such as iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV, and it also supports local streaming to smart displays for Google and Alexa users. The G4 is also planned to receive Matter support via an OTA update.

The G4 offers cloud storage of up to 7 days with no hidden fees, and the indoor chime provides the option for local Micro SD card storage (not included). In the future, NAS storage will be available as an additional option.

The G4 offers dual powering options, with a 6-battery pack for up to 4 months of use or the ability to wire it to a transformer. The included Chime-Repeater, equipped with a loud 95 dB speaker and a USB-C port, provides flexible placement options.

To protect privacy, the G4 supports a voice-changing feature, allowing you to disguise your voice or that of your loved ones as an uncle, robot, or clown. Custom ringtones can also be played on both indoor and outdoor units, enabling flexible automations.

The G4 is designed to withstand various weather conditions, thanks to its IP rating, and can be used as part of the Aqara Home alert system. When connected to Aqara Zigbee hubs, the G4 can function as a security camera and a 95 dB siren, alerting you in case of a break-in, vibration, water leak, or other events. It also supports smart home automations triggered by face detection, allowing you to configure different actions based on who is detected.
